About Manipur Police Housing Corporation Limited
The Manipur Police Housing Corporation was established in April, 1986 and incorporated as a Govt. Company in January 1990 with a paid up capital of (2) two lakh. The paid up capital was fully subscribed by the State Govt. The Company has not received any loans or grants-in-aid from either the State or the Central Govt. The Company has been surviving from its own resources i.e. from the agency charges on the estimated cost of the works undertaken.
The main objective of the Company was to construct residential and non-residential buildings for the Home Department, Manipur. However, due to completion of works in schedule time with quality and the Corporation is also the only work agency in the state including remote areas without any disturbances from unlawful organization, as the Corporation is functioning under the Home Department, Govt. of Manipur, so many departments under the State and Central Govt. have approached to take up their works and now the Corporation is taking up works for other various departments as well.
The overall policies and management of the MPHC are controlled by its Board of Directors. The Chief Secretary, Govt. of Manipur is the Chairman of the Board. The responsibility of day-to-day functioning of the Corporation lies with the Managing Director of the Company.

The main objectives to be pursued on the incorporation of the Company as per Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of MPHC Ltd. are as under:
- To formulate and execute housing schemes for the benefit of employees of the Police Department, Government of Manipur.
- To undertake construction of buildings for the housing of personnel of the Police Department.
- To undertake design, construction, repair, and allied works for all kinds of buildings for the Police Department, including office and residential buildings.
